| The Sweet Spot Equine Therapy "KEEPING IN MOTION" |

| I am an up and coming equine therapist currently studying at the BC College of Equine Therapy in Vernon, BC. My goals of becoming a therapist are based around having horse owners understand the importance of maintaining their horses health and well being, both inside and out. During my time at BCCET, I am looking to build a strong foundation. and background in equine anatomy and physiology. I feel that this is essential in order to be a valuable therapist. I am currently building my knowledge of massage, spinal adjustments, holistic healings, saddle fitting, and so much more(see below for a more detailed list). My studies don't end here though, as I continue gaining more experience from my current course, I am always looking for more knowledge to gain. I believe the more knowledge and experience I have the more successful I will be in helping our equine partners. I am open to all ages, breeds, and disciplines. I feel a more free moving horse creates a much more happy and willing friend. I look forward to one day working with both you and your horses. This is a 2 year course that studies many aspects of our equine partners. From massage to saddle fitting to holistic remedies and so much more. I will be updating the website after each class to let you in on what we have been learning. Below is a more detailed list of what I will be studying over the next 2 years. Our course includes instruction in the following:: AnatomyPhysiologyPathology Massage Therapy Saddle and Tack Fitting Applied Kinesiology Nutritional Assessment & Balance Structural Assessment & Balance Cranial Assessment and Balance Use of Herbal Remedies Assessment of Rider Imbalances Principles of Movement Energy Balancing Techniques Recognizing Farrier Imbalances Recognizing Dental Imbalances Acupressure Techniques Use of Magnetics Treatment of Injuries |
